To 'the pictures' on a rainy public holiday

Was working from home, on-call to cover for the wider comms team who are on a public holiday today. Clocked off at 6pm, and headed with wife in to rain-sodden Edinburgh, where the festive illuminations and amusements have a final few days more to run. At the cinema we watched The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo. I've not read the book, however this was an engaging but at times unsettling picture, with Fincher's signature combination of style and brutality.
