I thought the sky was a particularly pretty color this evening, and since I hadn't taken any other pictures all day...

Tomorrow is the most dreaded day in the calendar: my birthday. But this year I have taken the day off from work, and my brother is in town so I'm going to spend the day with him, though I think we'll just be running errands - not doing anything too crazy. Still, I expect the company will keep me from feeling too down. I'm also trying to plan some sort of low-key weekend get-together to celebrate with my friends. I haven't really celebrated my birthday in about 6 years, and one of my resolutions is to make time to celebrate special occasions (as opposed to forgetting until the last second, then watching them pass me by, as I've been doing for the last year or so). We'll see if I can manage it.

In the meantime, I'm gonna finish drawing up my goals for the year and get some sleep tonight!
