I had a few contenders for my photo today. And although this isn't the most interesting photo, I chose it to capture this joyous day.

I spent a lovely day with a really good friend, who bought me this lovely jade and silver pendant from her holiday in Thailand. And she came bearing wonderful news of her engagement. Such fantastic news!

Every time I wear this pendant now, it will make me think of the happy couple. The silver pattern on the heart looks likes the Chinese characters for double happiness, 'hei hei', normally associated with Chinese celebrations and weddings - very appropriate!
