What a blast

A River of Stones. Day 2. (for the January Mindful Writing Challenge)

Between wintery showers, the strange juxtapositions of deep blue skies with stormy seas, hailstones with yellow gorse flowers.
Whipped by icy winds, eyes unfocussed by tears look upon auburn ferns and January shadows.

...

We had a weather-beaten walk to Morte Point today and got smacked heavily by a nasty winter shower. When the rain had passed the sun came out briefly and we warmed up for a while. It's a lovely exposed bit of coastline, made all the more dramatic by the time of year and the stormy weather today.
I got out of the car on the way home to take a photo from the hill above Woolacombe and couldn't stand up straight!

I must not leave this blipping and writing until so late. I can't think properly!
I wish I could do this in the morning when I feel more creative.
