The cold day

Got up at 9 o clock this morning, my earliest morning of the holidayyet, though it nearly killed me to do so. Had an action packed day with the family. Before the cinema we went for a brief walk around the marina. It was rather lovely despite the fact it was extremely cold and I managed to step in dog poo along the way. We went to see Arthur Christmas in the odeon which wasn't half bad and made my dear sister lydia cry ( with tears of happiness apparently) . I also managed to convince dad to buy us box of McDonald chips before we went swimming in the evening.. All in all a very lovely day and I'm feeling quite positive about the new year.
