What's wrong with these slippers?

I bought these slippers for my son just before christmas or sometime before it got cold because they cost 1GBP. They were soft soled, which is what I wanted otherwise he may as well wear his shoes in the house and did not cost 17GBP which is what the only other soft soled slippers would have cost me. Henry's critera were that they must be pink! They did not have any pink ones only blue so we compromised.

Now tell me... what is wrong with a boy wearing flowers. Surely we do not want to press our stereotypes on one so young. He should be free to express himself as he wishes. If you agree with me then post a comment- or if you don't say why because my family say that it borders on child abuse and they are going to cut the flower off when I am not looking!
