More snow

We had a good layer this morning, and several more inches throughout the day. I stood outside after work, and it felt like a movie scene (like the ice planet on Star Wars): complete silence except for the howling Arctic wind blowing snow around.
I lured the juncos with food and tried to imitate the almost clacking sound they make - like a tongue against a palate. I don't know if it helped but I did manage to get closer than they have ever let me. Of course, I was out there so long they probably thought I was a tree. Or an icicle.

I feel better today, it seems my sinuses are drying out nicely. A few more really good sleeps and I'm done :)
