Back to normal

Today after we picked the children up from my Mothers we went shopping and spent the rest of the afternoon taking down the decorations and getting organised for school / work tomorrow...

I always find this time of year a bit of an anticlimax to be honest!

We managed to grab a quick 10 mins down by the river this afternoon but the wind was soooo cold that we kept it brief and I only managed a few rubbishy shots of a cormorant which was slightly disappointing however this evening turned out to be very clear so I whizzed outside with my new tripod (Thanks Ian) and had a play with the moon - again it was not great as there were some wispy clouds around which I found it tricky to deal with but I rather liked this shot......
