I received a call from my Sister In Law tonight, to say my Niece (who incidentally suffers from Downs Syndrome - and was at a Football match last night when we visited), slipped on a step on her way into the ground, and after a few tears, hobbled along, and at half time, hobbled to the loo, and took off her shoe and sock and put her foot on the cold floor (bless).

When she got home, SIL gave her some paracetamol, and wrapped it up in a bandage, and she got upstairs on her bum.

This morning when they got up, they removed the bandage, and the foot had ballooned, so off to A&E they went 2 hrs later emerging with a bright pink plaster, she had broken 2 bones in her foot.

That will not go down very well with her, as New Years Eve will soon be upon us, and she wont be able to boogie the night away.
