Cuckmere Haven

What a contrast to New Year's Day! Yesterday we got absolutely soaked going out for a walk. Today we had blue skies and sunshine. Went walking with some friends and their dogs around Alfriston and the South Downs Way in Sussex. Lots of mud from yesterday's downpour but it was warm enough to sit outside a cafe and have lunch. This shot is of Cuckmere Haven where the river winds down to the sea near the Seven Sisters Country Park.

Now pleasantly tired, and the dog is exhausted. Just as well as the weather forecast for tomorrow is high winds and rain, so very much an indoors day (and probably an indoor blip too).
