The Bearded One!
I think the real name for this one is:
Usnea articulata - more commonly known as beard or hair lichens.

British Lichens
If you had told me I would become an 'expert' in British Lichen, I would have laughed - it just shows what Blipfoto can do! Hmmmm...perhaps I need to get out a bit more or stop avoiding real work!
Probably both to be honest!
Three beautiful things:
The robin perched on top of the football in the garden - very happily surveying the ground for food!
The birdsong during this morning's walk.
Having the 'cold cobwebs' blown away - during our lunchtime walk! We also got soaked by a storm coming in from the moors - I was too busy trying to photograph a daisy!
One thing to be grateful for;
I was finally focused enough to get some school work done! I will be quite relieved to get back into some sort of routine - am beginning to lose track of time and days!
I forgot to share the Inspirational thought for January from my calender - here it is:
Kind words can be short and easy to speak, but their echoes are truly endless.
Mother Theresa
I think this sums up Blipfoto quite perfectly - don't you? I have been really touched by the kind and thoughtful words on my own and other journals, and I know that this is partly why I visit everyday.
