A Fine Day

It's been a classic Highland summers day today. You see, we fall for it every time, one good day out of seven and we forget. Anyway, it's been bright and warm with just enough breeze to keep the insects down.

As you can see were surrounded by meadows full of wild flowers and given the great summer we've had it looks like the best they've been in years. All the fields around the house are now in full bloom and looking great.

On the other hand our wee dog still as a bad eye after yesterdays hunt and he's a bit under the weather - if he doesn't perk up by tomorrow we'll have to get him to the vets.
