Mis-ter Bloo-Sky-y'eye-y'eye

Thought I'd catch an early morning run before mum got up and headed back up north.

So unthinkingly out in my shorts - to be greeted by sleet, rain then hale then sun, then sleet, then rain the hale. A tad bracing to say the least.
Kept to the valley bottom running to Addingham and back to Ilkley.
Nice to get out and turn my legs over again after the excesses of the festiveness.

Thinking again about vertical frame - had a few contenders - some dramatic skies. But liked this one as more optimistic for the new year. I thought that when shooting it that the frame within a frame with the clouds worked well without being too obvious.

Quiet day today planned - will sort out one of my new year resolutions - and organise my photos and reset the back up. Just moved over to Lightroom which I love, so I'll let it do the work for me once I've worked out how I want it to do it.
