New Year's day public holiday
Today was a public holiday for many Australians across the country. We took the opportunity to travel north of home to the Town of 1770 for lunch. The photo shows our view from the Pub where we ate. This gorgeous seaside town is the spot where Captain Cook made first landfall on Australian soil to make repairs to his ship the Endeavour in 1770. It was a gorgeous day and we had a pleasant lunch.
