I Will Lift Up Mine Eyes

I did some sorting and filing papers today -- a good start to the year.

Late in the afternoon the light was beginning to look interesting, so C and I put Miss Annie in the car and went downtown to look for blips. The late sunlight cast a warm glow on the buildings and we found lots of interesting things to shoot. C reminded me that it pays to look up as well as around when in town. I liked the lines and colors of this building with the balcony and fire escape ladder -- though the balcony isn't as elegant as the ones blipped by chaiselongue.

The bottom part of the ladder seems to have been forgotten, or perhaps stolen -- the last step is a big one.
