Happy New Year!

Well, it's almost a year since I started this Blipfoto thing.

It's been such fun looking back over the last year. I managed 100 in a row at one point and then it went a bit wonky but hopefully this year I'll be able to do even more. How nice it would be on 01.01.13 to be able to look back over a whole year of Blips. Lets see.

The Blip for today is a strange thing. I suppose it's the modern equivalent of 'drawing straws'. Each one of these blue thingys is a different length and also has a different number. I thought it might be a useful tool when it comes to certain avoided household chores - dishes, rubbish out etc!

I've also realised I've had to make some important decisions lately. It would have been interesting to use this to help chose the outcome. It might have been good or it might have been a disaster. As it was, I decided to use my instincts and my own judgement and hope they lead to the right answer.

Another 'fun' thought - the Blip reminded me of a cake with blue candles. It's M's birthday on 2 Jan and S's due date was 2 Jan and his eventual birthday on 11 Jan. We are leaving the end of 2011 but the January birthdays are the start of celebrating all over again.

Hurray for The Holidays, The Birthdays and here's to a Brilliant 2012 for all!
