New Year's Walk

It's a tradition, no matter what the weather is doing, to get out on New Year's Day and walk. Never meet that many people, even if the weather is nice.

The meal on 1 January is always less stressful than the Christmas Day one. Steak Pie, mashed tats, roast tats and green veg, followed by some pudding, today was the masterpiece my husband made yesterday, Mmmm, it was fab.

After the meal we had a big sing song with Cameron and Ben dancing. That was fun. We put on a load of Queen stuff in honour of Lola's trip tomorrow to Edinburgh to see We Will Rock You. They went to see it on Jan 2 last year, 1 year too early. Oh how we laughed at that big mistake.

My resolution, which I hope I will keep, is to get fit and lose weight. Which means cutting out the sweet stuff that I love. Not completely, in moderation.

Another thing I want to do is to improve more with the photography. Not rushing, taking time to get a better shot. Because when I look back at last winter, I was trying to think of different stuff to do instead of the lazy ways that I have got into.
