New year starts early this year...

Peninsula walk at Kaikoura, seeing more seals and being attacked by fierce seagulls. Headed on to the Bank's peninsula to stay at Okains Bay. We found out that this spot is not the quiet little beach we wanted but rather a party mile (maybe the Ballermann of NZ?).
Ah well, at least we got a very quiet morning the next day, when everybody else was still sleeping.
We were 12 hours early with changing into a new year this year...
