January Morning

January 1st always gives me a sense of a new beginning. In a way, I think this is a false perception, as one can make a fresh start any day of the year, but New Year's Day is as good a day as any. I like the quotation above, which was part of the service at my Unitarian Universalist church this morning. Rumi's suggestion would make an excellent resolution for 2012.
