This is the first of a years series of self portraits. I've called the journal At arms length as I will take all the portraits using my iPhone at arms length (or there about's).

If there is a purpose to the series I guess its that I photograph my family everyday and am omitted from the majority of the shots. The shots in this series will be considered compositions and I'll always stare directly into the lens.

Overall I'm simply interested to see the collected results of the project and learn from the process.
