Madness in Copenhagen

What better way to celebrate the new year than by getting pissed, whilst dancing around lit fireworks, in the middle of the road, with heavy traffic. But hey, why not. It's a new year and there might as well be a few more casualties on the streets. Me and D (my camera. Not the best name, but it works) headed in to the center of the city to get pictures of the annual war-zone, and that's putting it mildly. I don't know about anywhere else, but in Denmark there are fireworks called 'Canon hits' or something similar, and they could with ease blow your hand off, and a large part of your forearm with it. But these were thrown all over the place, and on several occasions went off 4 meters from where I stood next to a crowd.
