New Year Day Reflections

Today has been spent tidying up & clearing some of the Christmas things away.
I had some lovely presents but the one that is very special to me is this old photograph of my dad.
I lost my dad 22years ago. My mum found this photo at the bottom of a cupboard and knew I would love to have it.
It shows him aged about eight with his border collie Jess.
His family always had collies & growing up it was the dog I always wanted but never got.
That is until 3 years ago when I finally got the collie I'd dreamt of for years.
I now have 2 collies & they will feature in this journal for sure.
The photograph has pride of place in the lounge.
