Not a Kindle

I love books. Whilst I'm beginning to see why in some instances, e-readers are handy, for me there's no substitution for the feel of a book, particularly when the book in question is this one. If you like books and haven't yet become acquainted with young Hugo Cabret, then I highly recommend that you do so.

The very back page explains the history of the font used, tells you that it's printed on '130gsm Nymolla Wood Free paper and is thread-sewn in 16-page signatures.' Call me a geek, but I like that detail :-)

Oh and I got Brian Selznick's second book for Christmas and that looks equally gorgeous.
