Oxydol..........

Here in Hampshire it's been raining constantly from around 6pm last night until now 4pm New Years day, and its still coming down.......!!

I zipped over to Farlington at about nine this morning on the off chance that the rain would ease off.

I wasn't even able to get out of the car. Eventually turned the car around so i could at least get a shot out of the drivers door window without getting the camera wet.

Earlier in the week someone mentioned the decorative Mallards that people used to hang on their parlour / sitting room or living room walls back in the day, this was long before the word lounge became popular. Well those Mallards generally came in sets of three, so here i give you a set of four Brent Geese. Bizarrely the file this image comes from is in RAW format, and even after playing around with it in Photoshop, there's just no colours to be had from it. Simply different shades of Grey.

On a colourful note, well you decide. I mentioned earlier in the week the plastic Daffodils you used to get with various brands of washing powder that were on sale in the early sixties. I said the brands were OMO and Daz, well i was sat looking at the images i'd taken this morning after getting back from Farlington, and, BOOM...
Oxydol...........don't know why i thought of it, but that's the brand of washing powder that gave away the daffodils........ !!
