Grey Day in Lancashire

Happy New Year.

Sometimes the west coast grey sky produces a light so flat it is as though all the colour has been sucked out of the world - this was such a day. A short run in the incessant rain failed to turn up anything worth posting so I went back out in the rain and had another look at these small pylons and the church in the distance. There is a suggestion of a brighter sky on the horizon and it may arrive before dark but this has been a pretty dull start to the year.
