March the First

Out with the band for the traditional first of January march around Newtongrange.

We visit some of the retired members and friends of the band, where we are treated to sausage rolls and glasses of strong liquor (those of us who don't have to drive!)

And then to the Dean Tavern for more drinks and a (very) informal concert.
