More London fun and games

Last nights fireworks are truly awesome! And I even heard big Ben which pleased me massively! We had a fantastic evening, seeing the fireworks from a boat on the Thames is to be recommended.

We got up a little later this morning and had a wander round Kensington. Found ourselves in nottinghill at portobello road. This is one of the first areas of London I visited the first time I came here so was nice to have a wander. I took a picture of this little sign outside one of the many shops.

So far we've met a friend of mine from university and his family and we're now waiting on one of Col's friends (yes, we are in a bar!). Later we have another couple to catch up with this evening. What a wonderful trip, catching up with friends, les miserables and watching new year fireworks from the Thames. Does get much better!
