Resolution

Having received a right royal flogging from the surfzone this afternoon, I took a break and went back for more.

And therein lies my problem.


But the truth is, there is no room in dads life for anyone but dad.
And everything is my fault. I AM his biggest dissappointment. And have been since as far back as I remember.

And it seems he wants to pass the same sentiment to his grandchildren. THEY are a big disappointment too.

I know the silence this holiday is planned with precision to cut as deep as possible. If I have learnt anything, it is to know he plays the art of malicious to perfection.

I fold. I am happy to forget the past.

I just want to concentrate on the future.

And that my friends, is my resolution :)
