Wash Away the 2011 blues in Scotland

We went for a walk along the beach and were in time this year to witness the tradition of the Carnoustie Rugby Club members and friends brave the freezing water to take part in the annual dook.

I take my hat off to everyone that participated, well done you are all very brave people!

Most only stayed in for about 5mins but there was about 5 guys that continued to stay in the sea and play with a rugby ball for about half an hour later, we didn't stick around so not sure how long they eventually lasted.

I'm sure they were all really refreshed after that!
