A room with a view

Not for us the highlife of parties and fireworks. This is the view from my bed where I've been ensconced since ten o'clock since last night when we had our Hogmanay tipple of a cup of tea. The highlight happened in the middle of the night when the rain stopped and we had dose of thunder and lightning!

After that brief respite the rain started again and hasn't stopped since.

It's all go in the Highlands. Now where did I put my paracetamols?
