Little Bags of Fire

Today I spent the afternoon in the kitchen (there's that gender stereotype again...) making roast lamb for NYE dinner.

I really enjoy cooking for people, so an afternoon of chopping, basting, roasting and listening to superb music was ideal.

We saw in the new year at home with a few bottles of champagne and Kevin & Adine, a couple we know from church.

It was a bit too breezy for the sky lanterns so we put tea lights in these little paper bags and dotted them around the garden. They were so pretty!
