Scotland The World Over...Traditional Fare

I took part in Scotland The World Over!

Traditional food for 1st January...steak pie, forgot to brush pastry with egg or it would have had a bit more of a shine on top.....Ginger Wine..non alcoholic, buy essence at Co-op add sugar and water and boil....

The tartan is from a cape the dancers wear at Edinburgh Tattoo, they were going to be thrown out (Can you believe that, what a waste that would be) and the Scottish branch of the Quilters' Guild managed to save them and they were made into bags or just left as they were...

So Happy New Year to all fellow blippers...hope it is a blipping good one!!!!
