Pumpkin blossom on the vine

This was my first attempt at growing pumpkins from seed. Before the first freeze hit north Texas, my pumpkin vine had a chance to leaf and even sprout a blossom or two. I'm sorry the plant didn't survive the November weather, but am hopeful that I can someday give it another try.
