Swirl

A dull, foggy day to end the year with. Mr. Lightwave and I spent the day indoors, pining for the jungle.

Just as we left Drake Bay, Mr. L. picked up this shell from the beach and I put it in my pocket. It's since been through the laundry, but doesn't seem any the worse for wear. Actually, I think it looks strangely edible.

Before our travels, I bought a set of close up filters so I wouldn't have to take my macro lens. Good decision. Here I stacked 2 of them up on my 50mm.
