The Road to 2012

Not exactly true. It's the road down to the Thames at Richmond. It was only recently I found out why the cobbled road is laid out that way. The long stones are set at the width of a carts wheels and made the journey up and down to the riverside from the town a great deal less bumpy.

Anyway, you probably knew that. What you also know is that I've been missing for a few days. Just a mixture of post-op lethargy and christmas disruption. I could backblip some stuff but I think I shall just use todays as a launching pad into the New Year.
