A very brisk stroll....

at our favorite spot...Englishtown beach!

It was very chilly but quite calm down on the beach this morning. after we strolled the length of the beach outward bound, we crossed the road, which leads to the ferry - it's sort of a little pininsula of land that splits the beach - and explored the other side. the tide was quite high so we couldn't walk on the beach for too far. i've spied this wharf many times, and so we headed down there. We probably walked about 5-6 kms.....and i was very happy to get back onto the Ferry and then the warmth of the car.

Happily ensconced in my little office now, a lovely new cd playing (Dar Williams) and an art book from one of my daughters for christmas..... my other lovely daughter has sent me a gift card for more wonderful art supplies....looking forward to going shopping!!! time for a cuppa tea i think!
