Sea Buckthorn

Went with Mrs P for a walk at Tentsmuir. Usually we walk north to the point, but this time we headed south as far as the River Eden.

I've never seen Sea Buckthorn berries before. The bushes were thick with them; every branch covered and looking from a distance as if they were in leaf. These ones are pale, others were a darker orange/red.
