New Year,New Hopes.

Sat up 'til one minute past midnight this morning to capture some shots for today's Blip, as we are heading up to Newcastle after lunch and I wanted to send my best Wishes to staff and fellow Blippers before leaving.
After yesterday's Blip, I decided to shoot the stained glass panels on our front door with the outside BLUE Xmas lights reflecting through the rippled glass.See what you think.Only managed a few shots before the lights were timed to switch off!!!!!DASH!!!
It has been part of our routine since the children were young , to spend a day in Newcastle, appreciating Fenwick's windows, visiting Santa in his grotto and having lunch in Chinatown.Although the children no longer pay Santa a visit, we have tried to keep this tradition going.This year is the first year we have missed our trip , so venturing there with Fraz today, before he too leaves us for the sites of London!!There is seemingly a parade taking place, so that will be a welcome addition to our usual itinery.I will finish off the year with these words.
Change is the way of life. Challenge is the aim of life. This New Year take up the challenge to bring about great changes into your life.
The past has gone by long ago, it is already history,
But the future is yet to come, it's the brand new mystery.
