Finished tree

We finally finished decorating our tree this morning. I think this is the latest we've ever been with getting our tree up. We've been so busy every weekend that they all just ran together and then it was 2 days before Christmas before we knew it.

Had the day off today - went downtown to get my hair trimmed (it has been a whole year since I last got my haircut and i was in dire need of a cut). Since I was downtown, took advantage and did some last minute shopping. Toodled around until about 3pm, then finally headed over to Le Pichet to grab some lunch. Had a nice salad and a glass of wine. I love eating lunch by myself. Good opportunity to get some people watching in. I love the hustle and bustle of the holiday season....too bad it only comes once a year.

By the time I hopped on the lightrail to get home, it was packed with the usual rush hour commuters. I rarely take the lightrail at such a busy time - that was fun too. Great day all around.
