Flat

Decided to brave the supermarket today, it wasn't really that bad but we arrived there about 3 hours later than we should have. Firstly, I took part in a fruitless search for a mains powered smoke alarm. I know they exist, we have one, but nobody locally stocks them. I could however have purchased a Wifi smoke alarm. Huh ?
Then we got a flat tyre. Marvellous. By now it's pissing rain/sleet, freezing cold and dark. Not that any of that really bothered me as I stayed in the car. I actually sent Jamie out to get this pic.
We were all glad to get home, only to discover that I'd switched the heating off earlier in the day AND left a window open. The house was pretty cold.
Ah well, all good now. Cosy and warm, kids in bed, dog on lap, rum in hand. Ahhhhhhh.....
