Rubbish weather

My estimate was pretty accurate when I told the very casually-dressed man walking his dog that there was a heavy shower on its way and that it would be there in about four minutes time.
It was there in three...
He just replied "ah, it might miss us, it does not seem to be coming our way"
I can picture him now, standing in front of the fire place, in his underwear, holding his trousers in front the blazing fire (as you would in Dublin in July...)
