Thistle Seeds

these are seeds from the canadian thistle, cirsium arvense. it is not such a pretty thistle like the musk thistle as the flowers are smaller and not as full. i tried to photograph it when it was flowering, but never liked the photos. it is pretty now with the thistle seeds erupting and blowing all around.

i ordered a new camera from amazon.com this morning. i did a lot of research and decided to stay with canon and upgrade my powershot to a rebel. i got the free shipping option so will have a wait a week or more for it.
