Lean on me ....

The name for this photo came from my wife, Pat. Listen to Lean on Me by Bill Withers. It's a great song.

I took this photo from the banks of the Cape Fear River. It was a shirt sleeve-weather day which is wonderful to have at the end of December. I love the river, but I don't get to go there often and even today we were only there for a shote while.

I sat on the log you see at the bottom. The two trees which are jammed together at the top were within reach of smashing me into jelly, so I didn't sit there long. I suspect those two trees will be down within a few months. Until then, they are a deathtrap.
