More With Hope...

...than expectation.
This is a copy of a photograph taken in 1937. My uncle is on the right. It is his 18th Birthday He was killed in February 1945 in a flying accident in mid Wales. I have sent this picture to the Mataura Historical society in N.Z. in the hope that one of these friends may be alive. I am going there while we are on holiday to meet up with one man who remembers him from school.
I am not really expecting many people to be alive who knew him as they will be in their 90's . Fingers crossed.
