It is the last friday of 2011!!

This is Pete Boswell, the new trumpeter last night at Burgundy's, in the Paul Palmer Quintet. It was a great success with Pete and Paul fronting the group on trumpet and sax. On the right is Jon Moore on guitar and he had the big surprise of seeing my painting of his wife - Sue Parish ,the jazz singer,on the wall. He could not miss it as it is about 3 x 2 feet! It may well have inspired him to play some brilliant solos?. And we had the great news that jazz will continue at Burgundy's, every thursday night throughout 2012, arranged by Ted Richards and hosted by Mike Pennington, the owner.
