Torpedo Boat Sheds 2

These were the maintenance sheds for repairing the torpedo boats during the Second world War.

They are still in use for boat building etc and my launch has been in once for repairs.

They include rudder pits where you dropped the MTB rudder before the boat is pulled into the shed.

Moored up in front is one of the little ships (so called by Winston Churchill) that saved the troops off the beeches in Dunkirk

I will take a better photo later.

the challenge here was that the light was poor and it was incredibly cold as I took the dog for a walk
