Parting Shots
The last group photo before our daughter and family depart!
Still, we have been able to enjoy them for an extra two days.
It was a memorable time. Our grandaughter sang to the moon, met Jesus in the Church, demonstrated how she could now write her name and generally provided good company. Our grandson started to talk more rather than gesturing. He also demanded lots of hugs and got very attached to the Christmas donkey. Our daughter dropped her iPhone down the loo, attempted to revive it with rice but sadly failed. Still, she took it in her stride despite the fact that it is her lifeline. Our son-in-law developed excrutiating toothache and had to have emergency dental work but thereby ensured we got to enjoy them all for two further days.
What now? Well, we will have to try and recover, tidy up and fix the broken curtains!
Oh, and today is me and my wife's 44th wedding anniversary ( although we have known eachother longer).
