Korkers

This is one of a pair of Korkers overshoes which Carl got me during his recent work visit to the USA. They're overshoes for wear in snowy and icy conditions. Their main advantage over the usual ones which have been in very many shops for a month or so is that they're a one-size-fits-all design.

I guess we all expected wintry conditions again this year, but there's been no sign so far, and perhaps the shops that expected to cash in on things like this will be left with lots of stock on their hands.

Part of me is wishing for snow/ice so I can try these out. In the mean time they make a convenient blip subject for a day like this when I end up not getting out of the house.
