Splash, splash, splash

Rain - all day :(

But on the good side, not nearly as much as was forecast and, with just a few excetions, the region seems to have held together OK.

It made for an indoorsy day: searched the local online market place for a camper, talked on the phone a little, played backgammon with a friend who dropped round and spent time photographing water drips splashing onto the deck. It was a little damp out there but tolerable because it was fun. Results were ok but not what I'd hoped/aimed for.

Once again, the lawns are bolting as they soak up all this lovely moisture so as soon as it's dry enough that job has risen pretty much to the top of the list.

OK - I need an early night tonight. Haven't slept too well this past few nights for some reason so maybe an early night tonight will help me.
