Pursuit Of Happyness

By happyness

Beach Chairs in the Light

in the morning, you may be the first to awake
you get out of bed lay without stir without shake

you get out of bed and walk on outside
no one else but yourself, no need to bide

as you squint at the blinding light
you see many things that are normally not in sight

a a boat floating upside-down
a squirrel gliding on the ground

a bird fluttering in the trees
but no other human will you find amongst the peace

no doubts
no regrets
no worries
no freights

and you lay on a beach chair
and you listen and take in the summer air
